  1. Garage Sale: Scott & Bernie thanked everyone for helping with the garage sale. We received more donations on the intake weekend. It was out the door and down the side of the building. We raised approximately $55000.00 this year. The new layout was a great hit.
 
Total community volunteer hours are approximately 1250 hours.
 
Suggestions for next year:
  • Put bikes & chairs in or on a trailer for Thursday night only
  • Advertise no wagons and strollers for Thursday night only
  • Save fliers and newspaper for wrapping things up on Saturday
  • Bag sales start on Saturday when the doors open at 9am
  • Islay Ladies come on Friday night
  • Put up the Rotary Sign on the Fence coming into the Fair Grounds
  • Needs a sign where the funds go to for the garage sale.
  • Need to promote the garage sale as a fund raiser for Rotary
