  1. Youth Exchange-
 
Lorne moves that the Vermilion Rotary Club participates in Youth Exchange for the 2025-26.
 
Erwin Seconded.
 
Discussion- Dave Bates has volunteered to be outbound counsellor. Students have to be sixteen by December 31 and cannot be 19 while on exchange.

  1. Fair Booth Schedule-
Still needing volunteers for some of the shifts to sell tickets.
Rotary sign needs to be put up on the booth. Dave Bates will hang the new sign.
 
  1. Adventures in Citizenship Presentation- (Kera Ostrapolski)
  • 176 kids on the trip
  • Ottawa, Ontario in May 2024
  • Speakers presented on stories of helping homeless, diversity, climate change, first nations, and goal setting.
  • Toured the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa
  • Enjoyed good food and music
  • Toured Parliament
  • Toured the history museum
  • Attended a citizenship ceremony (about 50 people)
  • Had a great time on the trip
