Presentation by Bernie Huedepohl and Patrick Benoit from the Vermilion and District Rotary Music Festival:
Bernie and Patrick updated the club with what happened with the past music festival and what it will be doing going forward.
73 entries and 210 participants for the 2025 festival with lots of very young people involved
Costs are rising because of the cost of adjudicators
Looking to grow the organization with regards to adding participants and volunteers to help
Vermilion Rotary Club donated $1000 to the Vermilion & District Rotary Music Festival

Attending Lakeland Soccer Association U17 this summer and requesting up to $600 total for their registration and tournament fees.
Motion: Vermilion Rotary Club will donate $300 each for a total of $600 to Haya and Seryna Salame.

Looking for a donation to the Allied Arts which will help keep ticket prices accessible
Danielle will be coming to speak to Rotary on July 31, 2025

Possible funding request for a Neptune Rover Fluid System which would be used in the OR
Approximate cost between 50,000 to 60,000

Garage Sale:
Will be picking up from 4 households and storing in seacan
Purchase of Seacan:
A seacan is for sale that is currently located next to the Rotaries existing seacan.
Motion: Vermilion Rotary Club will purchase the seacan from Jake J. for $4000.

Unleashed: Creative Wellness Summit: Jenna W. puts on this event on an annual basis. Men and Woman can attend. Last year we sponsored a lady to attend. Mental health is a focus of Rotary.
Motion: Vermilion Rotary Club sponsoring an attendant to Unleashed this fall in the amount of $330 which is the registration cost for 1 person to attend.
