  1. Welcomes and Introduction of guests : Linda Alhalabi, Cathy Bartley, Sopia Myhovich, Ellie Myhovich

  6. Project Discussions:
    1. Garage Sale – Bernie Webb spokesperson- storage between garage sales is often poses some challenges. This year the club has access to the curling arena beginning April 7. That is a week of cleaning, set up of tables and unpacking the stored items. April 16-18 the community will be invited to bring in their donations. Rotarians and other volunteers will be busy cleaning and distributing items to their sections. Newspaper articles facebook posts and ads will be announcing dates to the public.
    2. Flag Project – Erwin Warkentin spokesperson-there is an average of 2540 flags sold in this fundraiser, flags are put out for the four long weekend through the summer. There will be a workbee for flag repairs in March. This fundraiser creates revenue of roughly $15000.
    3. Cash Draw Raffle – Bruce MacDuff spokesperson- 27 Draws throughout the year, drawn on the first Thursday of the month. Two or three draws a month. Tickets are $50 and this fundraiser raises between $6000 and $7000 a year. Rotarians sell the tickets to people. Bruce will provide people who need with lists of people and businesses who are interested in buying.
    4. Fair Cash Raffle-Dawn Riley spokesperson-yearly event at the Vermilion Fair, tickets are only sold through the fair at the Rotary booth. One for $5 or 5 for $20. Prize matches the year ($2026 this year) and the club brings in roughly $2500-$3000. The fundraiser also serves double duty as promoting general knowledge about Rotary and all we do as people visit the booth.
  7. Isabella weekly report: Went ice fishing with Lisa and her family, but didn’t catch any fish! She also saw some amazing Northern Lights!
  8. Upcoming: Lorne chairing Feb. 26, DG Visit via Zoom March 5. Purple Pinkie Day is March 6.
