Club Meeting - September 16, 2010

John Lunty, Club President, chaired the meeting.
The Giant Business Garage Sale and Rotary Fundraising Breakfast have been cancelled. We will have our Thursday morning meeting at the usual time and place.
Guests were Eda Bosgra, Anthony Biglieni and Shawn Jacula.
Dean McMullen was recognized for 25 years of service in our Club.
Thanks to Bruce and Marilyn MacDuff for providing us with a great breakfast!
Brenda distributed the calendar binders and asked that the canvassing be completed by October 23.
Jean Vidal provided an update on the Shelter Box fundraising.
On Thursday September 30th we will have our regular morning meeting as well as an evening social. The evening will include a presentation by Joe Schrivers with Project Amigo as well as a presentation by exchange student, Roosje Bollen. You can register with Dean McMullen if you are planning to attend.
Barry reported that Octoberfest plans are progressing and tickets will be available next week.
Jean Vidal introduced our guest speaker, Eda Bosgra, who gave an interesting presentation on behalf of the "Bridges for Peace" organization.
