Update from Gus: Sporting his hat and CFR t-shirt, Gus thanked Dean for taking him to the CFR. “Everything was big there and I wouldn’t want to ride a bull. I had an awesome time.”
Books for Belize: Work on the Books for Belize is progressing well. Robin may be ready to start loading some of the boxes. Work list was circulated checking availability of members for work bee next week.
St. Albert Ad Idea: Bruce brought in advertising he had clipped from a paper. The ad listed contact numbers and meeting dates, and invited the public to attend a St. Albert Rotary meeting. Is this something we should consider posting in our paper(s)?
Festival of Trees: Work list and cookie donation list passed around for the Festival of Trees. More information to follow at the next meeting.
RYLE: Lauren Pollard described her RYLE camp as “an experience of a lifetime”. She found out her style is blue (unique and authentic), learned about the “love languages” and participated in group activities accentuating personal development, communication skills and community involvement. She met many exchange students and made many new friends. Lauren, who has played fastball at the National level, in now attending a softball program at a school in Lloydminster. She did a fine job of representing our club!
