  4. Responsibility, full school year commitment to one mentee, accountability to always be there, training in mental health, communication skills, and just being a friend!   These are just a few of the skills required to be mentor and a positive role model  in the VIBE Mentorship Program.  The Mentorship Program matches high school students with elementary students and  has been in operation for four years.  Regina Lawrence, a grade 12 Outreach student shared her experiences of being a Mentor.   In addition to the satisfaction of being a `big sister`, Regina also receives five  high school credits and gets to use her training and experiences on her resume.  As a personal side note, this is just one of the many amazing programs that VIBE (Vermilion is Being Empowered) has introduced into the school and Vermilion communities.
  5.  Membership pins were presented to Kirby and Mary Lee.  These will be the last pins presented to Rotarians for sponsoring new members, as Rotary International has suspended the pin program.
