West Africa Project Fair: Dawn shared a correspondence regarding the opportunity for a trip to Port Harcourt Nigeria scheduled for October of this year to participate in a Polio Immunization Exercise.
Cash Draw sales - Dawn passed around the 31 extra tickets and a list of previous purchasers who were missed this summer in selling. Rotarians were asked if they could try to contact and sell tickets to a couple of people on the list.
Vermilion Elementary Hot Lunch Sign Up - the sign up sheet was passed around.
Letter from District Governor - Laura Morie DG has asked that every club in the District submit at least three articles to the monthly newsletter this year. The club chose the Lookout, the Fair Float, Books for Belize, Purple Pinkie, the Garage Sale.
Calendar Sales - Kirby distributed the sign up sheet for Calendar duties. Please let him know what you are willing to do to support this long standing Rotary Project! A brief discussion was had regarding what will happen if not enough people volunteer. The committee and club will examine a course of action later this fall.
Vocational: Scott Webb - Scott gave the club a very enjoyable Vocational talk! Thank you Scott!
Card Draw - Jean won $10!!!!! That was the last pay card, a new deck will be started next week!
Sargent at Arms - everyone was fined $1 to go towards Polio Plus!
Brenda Lee suggested that our Sargent in Arms fine those Rotarians over the next two weeks that do not bring school supplies to be donated to Books for Belize.
