Charter Night - Huge Success!

Congratulations to our organizing committee, this years Charter Night was a resounding success! With 50 people in attendance, members, spouses, exchange students, past integrity award winners and honoured guests District Govenor Ed Wilson and his wife Marlene.
The supper was catored by Charlene Young who provided and excellent meal. The evening included performances from several music and dance festival winners. Including Ukrainian Dance, Speach Arts and more!
The MacDuff Award was presented to and shared by Arnica and Brenda, recognizing their efforts in bringing new members to Rotary. Congratulations ladies!
Also a plaque was presented to Lionel, Shirley and Chance for their involvement and contribution to international service. Also recognized in the area of international service were, Arnica, Dan and Susan for their work on the Vermilion photo coffee table books and the funds raised through this project for Doctors without borders. Congratulations to all!
It was a great evening of celebrating the 52nd Anniversary of the Vermilion Rotary club, our local talented youth and some of our fine local Rotarians that have made a significant contribution to our local and international community!
