The meeting was chaired by Club President, Shirley McRobert.

Thank you to Susan McCulley, Shirley Charchun and Jan Scott for a great breakfast!

The club survey was distributed and completed during the meeting.

Shirley reminded everyone to check their profiles on Clubrunner and update them if necessary. You can go to our club site on Clubrunner, click on "Login" on the top right, then under "My Clubrunner" select "Edit my Profile". This should allow you to update all your information for the Club.

Dean McMullen reported on the trip to Edmonton to hear RI President John Kenney. Due to John 's illness Wilf Wilkinson, past RI president spoke in his place. Brenda, Barry and Shirley joined Dean on this trip.

Dave, Shirley, Godfrey, Jean and Glen joined about 30 people from the Lloydminster club on a tour of the military base in Wainwright. The tour started with a power point presentation on the history of the base by Lieutenant Colonel Paul Duff (Base Commander). We were then given an opportunity to view the LAVIII units and the new facility where they are stored. This was followed by a bus tour of the base and an excellent dinner at the Buffalo Park Lodge. This was a great time of fellowship and meeting Rotarians from other clubs! There is a photo journal of this event on our website.

Reminder that Oktoberfest tickets are now available.

Elly Contreras, Past District Governor, will be speaking at our breakfast meeting on Thursday October 1st. On Wednesday night, September 30th at 7:30 pm Dean McMullen will be hosting an informal social where you will have the opportunity to meet Elly and Romero. If you can, please bring some snacks for the evening and join Elly and Romero at Dean's house.

Our club will once again be sponsoring Mike Ryan to come and speak to students in local Schools about the dangers of drug abuse.

Enjoy the warm weather while it lasts! Have a great week!
