The meeting was chaired by Club President, Shirley McRobert.

Charter Night has been scheduled for April 24th and will include the presentation of the Integrity Awards.

Chris and Rod Barlow attended. Chris is our outbound exchange student going to Taiwan for 2010/11. Chris gave us an update on his preparations for his exchange term.

Brenda reminded the Club that they are in need of volunteers to work the Bingo on March 21. If you can help please contact Brenda. It was also decided that the Club would apply to work 6 Bingos again next year.

St. Jerome's School is hosting a provincial basketball tournament on March 16 to 20. The Club approved to sponsor the St. Jerome's Spartans Athletics Program in the amount of $300.

Gary Walsh and John Lunty are planning to attend the PETS/SETS training program.

Our guest speaker for the morning was Honourable Lloyd Snelgrove, MLA for Vermilion-Lloydminster. ( Click here for a complete biography) Mr. Snelgrove talked about the potential for Edmonton to host the World Fair in 2017 and the benefits that could result from this event coming to Alberta. He also commented on changes to Health Care funding in Alberta.
