Breakfast Meeting - February 18, 2010

Eileen provided us with a great breakfast to start the morning. Thanks Eileen!
Jean announced that progress is being made in securing a grant for our International project.
Gary is involved in the play at Vermilion Elementary School on February 27 and 28. Tickets are available for $25 by contacting Gary at 853-5117 ASAP.
All the best to our Club Curling Team who are participating in the District Curling in Athabasca this weekend! Go Team Vermilion!
John Lunty provided some information on upcoming training for Rotarians. Talk to John if you are interested in participating in these sessions. Details on these training sessions are available in the events tab on the district web site.
Ken Noster and Debbie Schafers with Living Waters College of the Arts were our guests for this morning. Ken provided us with some background and an overview of the programs offered at Living Waters. The development of this College has been a 10 year process with it's first program running in the Summer of 2009. The Summer program has room for 17 students and will be offered once again in 2010. The long term goal is to offer a 3 year Bachelor of Fine Arts program at this college. The College is located just outside of Derwent. For more information go to livingwatercollege.com
