Breakfast Meeting - December 17, 2009

The morning's meeting was chaired by John Lunty.
Our business meeting included discussions on various events and fundraising efforts for 2010. Some events that are planned for 2010 include the District Curling Bonspiel, Adventures in Firefighting and a Garage Sale. Watch for the dates of upcoming events in the weekly bulletin or in our Club Runner home page.
Gary reminded us to help recruit new members for our club.
Bruce and Carol from the Katikati Club in New Zealand visited us this morning. Bruce and Carol were host parents for our exchange student, Bryce Morrison previously. Bruce shared some of the things that their club was doing for community events and fundraisers. These events included community concerts, flower garden projects, inviting handicapped people to their Christmas Party, Guess who's coming to dinner social, etc.
