Glenn Charlesworth with Lakeland College was our guest speaker for the morning. The following are some hihglights from his presentation. Glen has been with Lakeland College since 1982 and currently holds the position of President. The college is doing well financially in spite of some of the cut backs in governement funding. Enrolment is at an all time high as the college is becoming better known for the programs they provide. Lakeland College students are widely recognized for their achievements and the Scholarship and Awards programs are attracting more students to the college. The college is also recognized nationwide for their Emergency Training Centre. The college continues to make improvements and has several projects in progress at this time.
