  1. Louise Cartwright: Passed Away March 29, 2025. Louise was one of original Honorary Rotarians. Instead of flowers we are doing a donation to the Rotary Foundation in her name. Funeral on April 7 2025 at the Parkview Alliance Church @ 1:30pm
Motion: Rotary Club of Vermilion makes a $100 donation to the Rotary Foundation in the name of Louise Cartwright.

  1. Signature Project for the 2025 Garage Sale
Motion: The 2025 Garage Sales signature project be the GPS System at the Airport.

Good discussion was had amongst the members.
Will be requesting some information to have at the garage sale to help inform people as to why we are doing this project.
 
  1. Lions Club Playground: Information on the Lions Playground was presented ahead of the Lions coming to present to us on April 10. The playground is across from the Alliance Church. The Lions are adding a toddler component to this playground. Approximate cost is 77000. If there are any questions that you would like to have put forward to the Lions club let Dawn know. Rebekah had made great point about putting our committed playground funds towards this playground. This made a lot of sense as we know how long we have wanted to do a playground. We need a toddler playground in our community. We can ask the Lions to acknowledge our help with this playground or add more pieces to the playground.
