Business-
- Mike delivered cheques to the schools for their lunch programs
- Ice plant sponsorship signage. Mike shared some idea with the club on different designs, wording and locations. He met ice plant committee chair and a representative from the town at the stadium and they showed him where the signage would possibly go. Members all agreed that the signage would best in the lobby area
- Flag-set around May 19. Erwin will clarify that we can set up at the Coop on May 1. Tune up possibly May 15 weekend
- Membership survey-Laurel is looking for members to complete the survey that is attached to today’s zoom meeting link. Please complete the survey and send to/drop off with Laurel
- Mother’s day gifts for the Nursing home residents. Mike was approached by Susan McCulley about possibly sending the mothers who are residents at the nursing home a small token for Mother’s Day. He will find out numbers and Loretta will look into getting some flowers. Shawn suggested including staff members who will be working that day as well.
- Eugene read a Thank-you card received from the Lychak family for our clubs’ assistance in funding for the special wheelchair their son received
- Erwin put forward Alva Creech as a new member to our Rotary club. Any concerns/accolades can be addressed to the executive and will be voted on next week
