Business
  • Playground Update – Erwin, Has talked with the town. He will be presenting at Town Council to request a Letter of Support for the project. Inviting any interested members to join.
  1. Fair Raffle -Motion from Bruce, “That the Rotary Club of Vermilion run the “Fair Raffle” at the 2023 Ag Society Vermilion Fair.” Seconded by Bevin. Bruce discussed his history with the project and that it is very easy and rewarding.  Passed.
  2. Cash Raffle -Motion from Laurel  “That the Rotary Club of Vermilion run the “Cash Raffle” for the 2023-2024 Rotary Year.” Seconded by Kory. Passed.
  • Flags 2023 – Work Bee April 1st at 9:00 AM at the Webb’s RV building. Looking for several volunteers to help go through the Flags and find which ones need Repair and ones that are ready to go. Drills and #2 Robinson bit would be valuable. We will announce soon when people can start signing up and paying for their 2023 Flags.
  • Harvest Gala – The committee met, and Shawn is willing to guide the Project through. At this time a major project has not been selected for Harvest Gala. This will be selected over the coming months.
  • Garage Sale – Direct inquiries to Scott as the Committee Chair. There will be committee meeting at Webb’s Ford on Tuesday the 21st at 7:00PM for the Garage Sale Committee.
  • Books for Belize – Robin let us know that he has been having issues with scheduling due to a backlog from Covid, but on a bright note shipping prices have come back down to normal like levels. We need to either change the can or have it recertified. We are making Progress!
