Brenda-Proposal for August Furniture sale- Brenda has had many inquiries from people looking for furniture and we have an abundance of furniture stored in the sea-can and the fair booth.  Brenda proposed that the Rotary host one day “Pop up furniture sale”.  Date options are Saturday August 8 or Saturday August 15 and location would be the curling rink where there would be optimal space for social distancing(50 people indoors).  This would be a FURNITURE ONLY sale and would be held within all of the Alberta Health Services guidelines, included the wearing of a mask and gloves,  this would also need the approval of Greg Ward.  Only Rotary members  would be involved in the organization and operation of this event, with no additional community volunteers participating.    Bruce Macduff moved that we hold the Furniture sale August 8 as proposed by Brenda.  President Mike recommended a friendly amendment to Bruce’s motion to indicate to Brenda Lee by email their availability should a Furniture sale proceed.  President Mike called for a vote for merit of a potential sale.  9 members for, 3 members opposed
