Rotary meeting- May 28th 2020
17 members present and 2 speakers: Corinne McGirr (Community Futures Lloydminster & Region) and Glenys Reeves-Gibbs (Project Gazelle)
- Welcome and announcements: For birthdays: May 31st -Honorary member Art Boggs; June 4th – Kirby Whitlock; and on June 4/2015, Justin Thomson joined Rotary
- Erwin gave an update on the flag project- 283 flags have sold and he would like to reach the 300 goal.
- Dawn – cash draw tickets are arriving shortly and will be working on distribution of tickets to sell soon. The first draw date is August 6th.

- Corinne McGirr from Community Futures Lloydminster & area gave a overview of programs and services and invites business owners to attend the upcoming AGM and also if interested to be on the board. Some of the programs that Corinne covered were the following:
- Services to Entrepreneur Loans (Start/Expand/Relocate) up to $150,000 loans
- Western Youth Entrepreneur Program
- Entrepreneur with Disability Program
COVID-19 programs
- CEBA- expanded criteria (need $20,000 in payroll)
- CR-Rural regions for financial relief for Local Business
- WD Programs-RRFP programs

- Glenys Rees-Gibbs gave an overview of Project Gazelle; a 3 year project serving 15 Community Futures Regions.
