Call to order 7 am VIRTUAL ZOOM Meeting

Introduction of guests: Carl Vidal although apparently he didn’t know there was a meeting and Jean did not know he was coming ;0
Birthdays and Anniversaries:
Announcements:
- Garage sale-Brenda has no new updates, will probably wait until more information comes from the provincial government.
- Charter night-Lisa has no new updates, as with the garage sale she is waiting on more information
New Business:
- Think Ice project-Mary Lee had a meeting with Kevin Lucas, he is only 22 days into his new job so nothing new to report just yet.
- Mary Lee sent in our application for the $500 grant to assist communities dealing with the Coronavirus pandemic. Receipts for purchases made must be submitted within 2 weeks of receiving funding. Eugene will be looking after getting the receipts for the groceries being donated to the food bank
- Mary Lee, Mike Webb and Robin will be attending the Grant’s Webinar on Saturday, Dawn will be attending Wednesday
- Flag project-Facebnook launch done. Flags will go up on the 8th of May and down on the 19th. We will be placing a flag on everyone’s front lawn who purchased last year, regardless of if they signed up or paid yet. If people would like a flag and are struggling this year to raise the $60, we will work with them to make this affordable. New drop off payment place in addition to paying Rotarians or etransfer, Modern Edge Painting mail slot.. We also need to further discuss logistics regarding placement of flags while practicing social distancing.
