Announcements:

Thank you to team 4 for breakfast
  1. Sign up sheet is circulating for the Christmas Meeting on December 19
  2. Mary Lee presented a cheque for $500 to Loretta Quickstad, Bray Crowe and  Azro Abuzukar all representing the JR Robson Basketball team to put towards the 2A Boys Provincial Basketball playoff being held in Vermilion March 18-21, 2020
  3. The representatives from the Junior Ladies competitive curling team introduced themselves and requested funding to help support their goals for the future.  They would like to attend curling camp and are hoping to make it to the Alberta Junior Curling Provincials next year.
  4. Barry Scinski, Principal of the Outreach school, explained the need for increased funding for the breakfast program.  When the program was designed, it was based on the needs of 40 students and now there are approximately 60 students enrolled at the school.  The breakfast program provides a meal to the students who, otherwise, would possibly not have a morning meal that day.  Students learn better when they have fuel in their bodies.  The food is provided to the students from breakfast time and throughout the day and the added funds would allow the school to provide a wider variety of foods to the students including smoothies, etc.  Mary Lee presented Barry with a cheque for $200.0 to assist in the breakfast program.
Sargent report-Erwin Warkentin Jean Vidal for a lost pin and Dawn Riley for tardiness ;) Let’s all be reflective and be thankful.  Members and guests around the room shared what they are thankful for.
