Membership Survey: The district is do a membership survey. The link was sent out by e-mail. Please complete the survey.
Banner Presentation-Erwin: Banner from Nepal, Katmandu-Thamel
Casino-Craig: Next casino will be in 2023-over 3 years away. Should know in July - end of quarter the revenue from the casino that was done in May.
Presentation - Dixie Allen & Bailey Ferguson - RYLE-Dixie and Bailey attended RYLE in early May. At the beginning they didn’t feel like they fit in or belonged to a group but it didn’t take long to get to know the other students (and exchange students). They had learning sessions about Rotary, learning about self, and success. They were put into groups and had bonding activities. Cabin group-singing, zumba, ziplining, and campfire were other activities at RYLE. They made friendships and made their own group of friends.
Presentation - Alyssa Upton - RYPEN: RYPEN camp was located at South Cooking Lake. It was a large camp and they had about 50 people at their camp. They had Aboriginal speakers, inspirational speakers, singers, speakers talking about Rotary. We saw a slideshow and a video of the campers: challenges the campers faced -fear of heights, rock climbing; of campers and counsellors really interacting and having fun..
