  1. Leanne Martin from the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce presented Brenda Lee with the Business Professional of the Year Award.  The awards were held online in October.
  2. Kevin Martin gave a brief update on the fundraising for the ice plant.  As of meeting time there was $82,295 in the bank for the plant.  This does not include the Vermilion Rotary club’s pledged funds or the curling club’s Crop donation.  Facility Enhancement board members have been working with Kevin Lucas and the Town to find possible grant money.  Total cost for the project will be between $2,000,000 and $2,200,000.  More information will be coming available in the next few weeks.
  3. Darlene is looking to make some changes to our membership structure set in our bylaws.  We need a group together to discuss memberships types and look at the bylaws to look for all necessary changes.  Rebekah will email out the bylaws to each member.
  4. Dawn mentioned to the club that there will be some webinars available on various topics on the District site under the “learning tab”
  5. The Rowing Club will be coming in the next while to do a presentation
