Jason introduced Donna, our new District Governor to the club. Donna spoke via zoom about her hopes for the upcoming year. One of her focuses will be trying to increase membership and a good way to do that is to try and bring one person to a Fundraiser, a District Conference, a Rotary Meeting or get them to help with a Community Service or Fellowship Act. Another focus will be trying to engage Rotarians in different activities and have them posted in the “Rotary Showcase”. Some other areas of focus are Sustaining the Environment, Empowering Women and the Rotary Employment Partnership. We wish Donna the best of luck for the upcoming year

- There is a breakfast sign-up sheet circulating tor Nov 4 business meeting. If you weren’t able to attend this mornings’ meeting but wish to order breakfast please contact Dawn or Laurel
- If you haven’t updated your volunteer hours please send them to Loretta, she will also be bringing the volunteer book to next weeks’ business meeting so please complete them then
Sargent report-Mary Lee was acting sergeant today and issued a very broad fine. The entire club had to pay a buck……two bucks for a missing nametag. Those attending virtually please etransfer your loonie/toonie to vermilionrotaryclub@gmail.com checks are also accepted with proper ID.
