- Reminder for Integrity Awards nominations
- October is Polio Awareness month. Club members viewed several videos highlighting the obstacles overcome in the fight to eradicate polio and also 2 survival stories. We watched the trailer for the movie “Breathe” currently on Netflix, the story of Robin Cavendish and his fight to survive polio paralysis. Also the story of Wilma Rudolf who overcame polio and became an Olympic medal winner. He challenged club members to make a donation this month directly to the Polio fund. Dawn made members aware that they could donate online and designate the donation specifically to Polio.
