Guests Pat Calyniuk and Ramona Mathison from VIBE
The Vermilion Rotary club helped fund the purchase of the Slumberkin series of books and stuffed animals. These are used as tools with the elementary grades to help children understand and work through many different feelings emotions. Pat and Ramona brought the books and toys to the club to show members what this aid is and how they integrate it into each grade. https://slumberkins.com/pages/about-us
August is Membership Month
Laurel compared Rotary Membership during the pandemic to the issues with membership during the depression and WW11. She read the club two new member orientation letters
