Business
- Playground Replacement – Sara at the town has offered us two different locations. Playground by the Alliance church. And Greenspace on Park Drive. Both locations could have a Toddler playground added. There is still the option of partnering with the Lions. Lorne noted that Wainwright has a great green space around their business district, is that something that would look good for Vermilion? Town is fielding calls from individuals interested in facilities for toddlers. Town is approaching the Lions shortly. At this time our motion is still tables regarding a 40k investment from Rotary towards a facility. We will continue to work with the town on this initiative.
- Club Organization – Looking to fill the blanks on our Org chart. There are opportunities for individuals to put their name forward. Notable blanks Defibrillator, Social, etc. We still need a president elect. We should make sure every member has the opportunity to be part of one of these committees. There is a real opportunity to fill in this sheet to further define many of the rolls within these groups. Member support is another position that should be created/defined. Darlene is willing to take on that roll because she has been doing much of that already. She would like guidelines on what we should be doing as a club. Note: The Harvest Gala sub-committee is not shown on the org chart, but the sub-committee will need to be updated before the next Gala.
