- Rotary Employment Partnership-ongoing. Let Laurel know if you are interested in joining the steering committee
- Kayak launch-ongoing. Mike is working with the supplier to get it here ASAP
- Breakfast-we will look at starting in September. We need someone to step into the breakfast coordinator role
- Rotary lookout Memorial plaque-Laurel received a quote and rendering from Brenda & Loretta for a plaque in remembrance of Art Boggs. It will be placed by the plaque in memory of his wife Marnie Boggs on the bench at the Rotary Lookout. All in cost of the plaque is $374.62. Scott Webb made the motion that the club move forward with the plaque as presented for a cost of $374.62. Mike Bykowski seconded. All in favor. None opposed. Motion carried.
- Policies & By-laws-The by-laws have officially been registered so we can now formally introduce the new policies(attached). Darlene Barlow made a motion that the policies that were presented on Aug 5/21 be accepted. Rebakah Warkentin seconded. All in favor. None opposed. Motion carried.
- Harvest Gala-Shawn made a suggestion to the club that we do not hold the Harvest Gala this year. Planning of this event starts many months prior and we do not have enough time to hold the event as we would like to. We can look at possible alternative fundraisers at a later date. Eugene Wasylik made a motion to cancel the Harvest Gala for 2021. Lisa Beveridge seconded. All in favor. None opposed. Motion carried
Membership-Tyson Tschauner & Ebony Jensen will be officially welcomed into the club in the upcoming weeks
Foundation Follow-up- Laurel found out that you can make endowment donations as a bequest or as a living donation
Cash Draw tickets-there are approx 70 cash draw tickets left to sell
