Video presentation from Tim Shilds, District Foundation Chair
Tim gave a brief synopsis on how where some of our fund money goes
- Rotary Endowment Fund-supports 7 areas of focus 1)providing clean water 2)support education 3)fighting disease 4)saving mothers and children 5)grow local economies 6)promoting peace 7)protecting the environment
- Share Fund-earnings used for district grants and global grants
New Member Proposals
Bruce proposed Tysen Tschauner as a new member and Lisa proposed Ebony Jensen.
New Policies for Membership
Darlene introduced beginning draft of the new membership policies(which are attached to these minutes). Members are encouraged to review these policies and let Darlene know any additions or deletions they wish to see. These can then be argued in court with Rebekah…..or probably reviewed by the Membership committee and brought forward to the club. We cannot move forward with these policies until our by-laws have been completed with Alberta regisitries(they have been submitted)
