  1. 2021/22 Budget-Laurel made a few minor changes.  She amended the membership fees to $290 and lowered admin costs.  She also included the Fair, which is still a bit of an uncertainty at this time, in Service Ways and Means.  The District Governor will also be personally visiting in October so this has also been reflected in the budget.  Laurel Wynnychuk made a motion to approve the budget as presented.  Bruce MacDuff seconded.  All in favor.  None opposed.  Motion carried
  2. Update Re-Use(Loretta) upcoming presentation to the environmental committee.  They have a building/location and need some assistance in putting up shelving.  Loretta asked for commitment from the club for assistance at sometime in the future.  Club members are ready to assist.  Things are moving along after the long pause due to Covid.
  3. Funding request from Vibe-)we received a funding request from VIBE for the purchase of Slumberkins $629USD (Emotional support bocks and stuffies).  Mike will reach out to Pat Calyniuk to give us a presentation.  Bruce made a motion to spend up to $1000 CAD for the purchase of the Slumberkins. Dawn Seconded  All in favor.   None opposed.  Motion carried.
  4. Fair-Rotary booth is pretty full, we will need a group together to clean out the booth or organize tents(if that is how we go).  We may be able to store the contents of the booth into Webb’s RV or enclosed trailers to free up space in the booth.  This will be a “fly by the seat of your pants” fair so we will see what evolves in the upcoming weeks.
  5. Ice Plant presentation-present next week at the regular meeting which will hold “in person” outside at the Cenotaph.  Bring your own chair, coffee, breakfast, umbrella, snowsuit or whatever and we will
  6. Signing Authorities-It is the end of Mike’s reign on June 30 so signing authorities need to be changed.  Mike as president needs to be changed to Laurel, all others stay the same.  Shawn Jacula make the motion to remove Mike Webb and replace with Laurel Wynnychuk as President.  Lorne Maier seconded.  A friendly amendment was made to as the phrase”as of July 1, 2021”  All were in favor.  None opposed.  Motion carried.
Upcoming meetings-June 17 IN PERSON  meeting.  Bring your own coffee, chair and breakfast and we will meet at the Cenotaph!!!!!
