Old Business:
- Bylaws-the updated bylaws have been sent to all members and today is the day we can vote on them. Erwin Warkentin made a motion to replace the existing bylaws with the new, updated ones. Laurel Wynnychuk seconded. General discussion around the changes to the membership bylaws and how they might play out in the future. Changes to the by-laws just makes changes to the foundations upon which our policies are set. Policies are easier to change then by-laws but still must be brought before the club members and agreed upon. The goal of these bylaw changes is to allow flexibility to the policies for membership in the hopes of attracting new members. All were in favor of the motion. None opposed. Motion carried. Scott sent a kudos to Rebekah for all of her hard work on the bylaws. They will now be sent to Alberta Registries. The next step will be to review the policies which were last updated in 1994, hopefully at the next executive meeting.
- Audit-Jack Seewalt has completed the audit of the clubs books. Mike sent out the final audited copy for members to review and we will vote on them next week.
Sargent Report- Erwin fined the owner of the cellphone that dinged during the meeting. You know who your are!
