Please join us on Zoom for an evening with author, Dr. Hannah Wunsch, a Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine, University of Toronto, as well as a Canadian Research Chair in Critical Care Organization and Outcomes, who recently moved to Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City.We will discuss her new book, "The Autumn Ghost: How the Battle Against a Polio Epidemic Revolutionized Modern Medical Care." She will share her valuable insights with us and enhance our connectivity to Polio today, while sharing the account of how the battle against a mid-century polio epidemic sparked a revolution in medical care.  The RCBS will host this evening Zoom meeting, Tues Oct 24th, from 6-7pm.    Her book, "The Autumn Ghost: How the Battle Against a Polio Epidemic Revolutionized Modern Medical Care" is available to order through Titcombe's Bookshop in Sandwich. Eight Cousins in Falmouth has 2 in stock but before you go to either store, call and they can put it aside for pick up. Additionally, I have confirmed the Sandwich Public Library does not have a copy today but they are trying to get one. They confirmed in the CLAMS network the Falmouth, Harwich, Mashpee, and Woods Hole Branches have one each.   Regiistration is required to attend this FREE event.
