Outbound Student - Jessica Garley

On July 22, 2015 outbound exchange student Jessica Garley shared her introductory presentation.  Jessica leaves for the Netherlands on July 31, 2015. With her mother Janine in attendance, Jessica told us that she will be taking two large suitcases along and has hopes of attending a number of cultural events - both historical in the form of museums and popular in the form of amusement parks.  Jessica will spend one year in the of town Oosterwolde, Friesland. The European rotary clubs have partnered to provide the exchange students with a tour to six other countries at the end of their exchange.

The Rotary Club of Oosterwolde organized a bike event this spring which included clinics and long distance rides.  The goal was to raise funds for the purchase of a wheelchair bicycle.
