The Club heard from Elly Contreras on Wednesday, about how she and her husband Ramiro spent this past winter on Project Amigo in Mexico.

Elly explained how rewarding the experience is, and how the many friends and fellow volunteers have made such a huge difference in the lives of the project's recipients. To date the Project has seen 27 students graduate University. Donors and sponsors have supported 232 students as part of Project Amigo. Rotary funding has provided over 70,000 books, bringing knowledge, confidence, and a brighter future, to their many recipients.
