Cultural Development in Stony Plain

Chantelle Laberge, Cultural Development Officer with the Town of Stony Plain shared an update on projects her department is working on to ensure a vibrant community that recognizes our cultural assets.  Projects include the Cultural Roundtable, which several Rotarians sit on in an advisory capacity, the painted piano project, Summer Sessions for music and an exciting new project that will celebrate Canada 150.  For information on the Cultural Master Plan and other projects, visit the website at:  http://www.stonyplain.com/Town-Hall/Departments/Cultural-Development.htm

 

Chantelle also shared the Canada 150 mural design for Stony Plain.  In its final form, it will depict our cultural heritage organizations of the Multicultural Heritage Centre, Pioneer Museum, Parkland Potters Guild and the Stony Plain Library.
