Welcome to the Rotary Club of Stony Plain
About Our Club
The Rotary club of Stony Plain received it's charter from Rotary International on March 26, 1986 and charter night was celebrated on May 3, 1986. The Club was sponsored by the Barrhead Rotary Club. Several of the orginal chartered members are still active members to-day.
The Club has been involved in many actvities both locally and internationally. Some of these involved the establishment of the Rotary Park, Recycling center, Run for Life, in Stony Plain. Internationally we are involved wth APU Girls School in Malawi, Africa, Project Amigo, Colima, Mexico. We have also been involved with water transportation in Honduras, support for earthquake victims in Haiti and Chile among various other projects.
