Mid-Cities Pacesetters hosted a party on Saturday, February 15th for "Our Community Our Kids" to match foster kids with adoptive parents. We had 17 kids, numerous families looking to adopt, lunch, games, cookie decorating, and loads of fun. Many thanks to FUMC Hurst for use of the great facility. Also, many thanks to members Stephanie Duelm, Reggie Parr, Robert Breneman, Kathryn Rotter, Sharon Cox, Ed Markey, Jolly Kahunde, Bill Bracken, Joe Lopez, Jennifer Muirhead, Michelle Johnson, Dave Nielsen, and the Trinity & Richland High Interact students for volunteering to make this event a success... A special thanks to the Judge, Glen Whitley, for underwriting the cost of this important community event...
