Last Thursday, June 9th, our club, along with Northeast Tarrant Chamber of Commerce, sponsored a blood drive at Five Star Ford, Our goal was 40 units of blood, but fortunately we received 50 units of blood. Each year, the Northeast Tarrant Chamber of Commerce honors the unsung heroes of our community who give freely of their time and resources to help our area non-profit organizations achieve their missions! This year member Bill Bracken was honored for his work this year with the Open World Program that brought a delegation of future Ukrainian leaders to meet with local legislators about Anti-Corruption... Our Rotary Club was recognized at the HEB ISD School Board Meeting on Monday, March 28th as a sponsor of the school district's Better Together program. President Dave Nielsen, members Phil Beckman, Jessica Bruda, and Angie Monroe represented the club.
