On Friday, September 6th member Jolly Kahunda was the program speaker for the downtown Fort Worth Rotary Club. She talked about her father “disappearing” because in Uganda’s political turmoil he was opposing the rulers.  She and her sisters suffered and her mother told her to get out of Uganda and go to America.  She was fortunate to have a passport and was able to get a Visa at the American Embassy.  She flew to New York and met someone who convinced her to go to DFW.  She was also told to volunteer and she came to Pacesetters uninvited and came back three times. There she met Bill and Sharon and they invited her to become a member.  She wanted to help the poor children in Uganda, many of whom are orphans of parents who died of AIDS.  Her organization, Malayika Rescue Mission, helps boys and girls to attend school and stay in school.  She thanked  Bill and Sharon specifically and thanked the rest of us for attending...
