Past President Beth Roll Smith (R) on behalf of the Rotary Club of the Bridgewaters presents Laura Williams (L), the Asst. Director of the West Bridgewater Public Library, eight $25 gift cards for the West Bridgewater summer food program. The program is sponsored by REACH of West Bridgewater. REACH stands for Resident Emergency Assistance Care and Help. The gift card program is in place for food insecure residents to be able to purchase lunches at Market Basket and Trucchi's. Each family who requests to participate in the program makes application at the West Bridgewater Library's main desk. A card is distributed to a paticipating family once a week.
The Rotary Club of the Bridgewaters serves the three communities of Bridgewater, East Bridgewater and West Bridgewater. The club which met at Good Days in West Bridgewater is presently meeting virtually on Wednesday mornings from 7:30 to 8:30 AM.
