Rotary Club of Peace River launches ONE MILLION DOLLAR Capital Fundraising for the construction of a regional "Rotary House"

The Rotary Club of Peace River is celebrating their 60th year of Humanity services in Peace River. They have elected to spearhead the construction of a facility which will be located on Peace River’s West Hill. This building will be called the "Rotary House".

The "Rotary House" has been identified as a need in the Peace Country, and would be located near the Peace River Community Health Centre. This facility would be a home away from home for families whose loved ones are seriously ill and are receiving treatment at the hospital. As well, the "Rotary House" would provide temporary accommodations for medical professionals, physicians and visiting specialists.

On Saturday November 3rd The Rotary Club will be holding a Diamond Anniversary Fundraising Dinner, which will include silent and live auctions. This event will kick off the ambitious campaign to help raise $1 million for the Peace Regional "Rotary House" Project. The Rotary Club is currently looking for support from you, the businesses and individuals that share in our passion to further improve our great community. We are requesting contributions towards live, silent and radio auction items for the fundraising banquet.

As normally this weekend would be the Annual Radio Auction the events will be as follows: Dinner, Silent Auction, Live Auction Saturday night November 3rd, and then Sunday November 4th Will be the annual radio auction, please tune into YL Country 610 am & 94.9 FM from noon – 6 pm to place your bids and to sponsor the "Rotary House"
