Off-Leash Dog Park

On a sunny Saturday October 22nd, a small group of Sunrise Rotarians completed the City of Grande Prairie's very first off-leash dog park.  City Council approved the project some time ago but no private companies were interested in doing the work.  The off-leash dog park is located near the entrance to South Bear Creek Park beside the outdoor model car race track.  Thanks to Jeff Keddie for the use of the post pounder, it sure made our job much easier. Muskoseepi Park staff will be putting up a Sunrise Rotary sign at the dog park.  More photos in Photos section to the right.
