We're in limbo mode right now - waiting for things to get fixed.

Mike and I have had a very interesting last 36 hours. It started great - we departed the Tim Horton's at 6:15 Sunday morning and we were on our way to Mexico. 4 School buses and 2 ambulances. Fuelled up at Valleyview - everything was great. Then a ticking noise came from the Engine - no oil. We added 5 liters at Gunn and hobbled into Edmonton and hatched a plan - we'd carry forward to Red Deer and see the oil situation at that point. We arrived at Red Deer to find the Ambulance from the Swan City club also needing some assistance. Luckily for them the tow truck driver was able to re-attach the transmission Linkage and Ken and Bev were back on the road. Meanwhile Mike and I collected more oil from the Red Deer Canadian Tire (at this point the dollar value of Oil Purchased and Gas was equal) and decided to carry forward to Lethbridge - I have connections that has connections with a dealership in Lethbridge. We made it safe Monday evening at 9pm had supper and that was the end of day one. During visits to service stations we had a 3 step process... fill the gas tank, fill the oil, and the passenger front tire. Tuesday morning - day 2 It was sad to see the other 6 vehicles head on without us - but thanks to President Collen's help we're into the Saturn Store's Service Department and the Ambulance is getting fixed - with hopes it'll be done Tuesday. The owner is a fellow Rotarian. We're in limbo mode right now - waiting for things to get fixed.
