Email from Theresa Grant (Youth Exchange)

Hi!Will I've been here for a week now, and everything has been great, so far. I haven't done too much, but settle in, but this next week will be crazy. In the morning I leave for the north sea with my host brothers, grandma, cousins, and some other "host relatives" that I've never met before, here the damilies are all very close, and so I have a huge "host family, and it feels like a constant family reunion. Its nice, and gives the students like me allot of connections. I'm there until thursday evening, when I come home for the evening, then the next morning, I go to the rotary welcome event. So I will be busy, but I'll have lots of fun. I think I've almost mastered the french keyboard, although I still can't find the apostrophe and its starting to annoy me. My french is getting better, and I hold most conversations in french, except I am corrected in my grammar allot. Thanks for the letters from everyone, I hope you all write back soon, I enjoy hearing about stuff at home, and all that. I'm pretty much over the initial pounds since arriving! I'm sure it won't last, though. Oh, well! Well its late here, so I have to go.From Terry
