Holy Smoke BBQ Contest with "Rotary BB BBQ" Team

The "Rotary Butt Busters BBQ" Team will be competing in this event!  With their fearless team leader Mario Usera directing, the Butt Buster BBQ Team including Tom Mendel, Mark Bertrand (his dad), and Larry Blosser will hone their BBQ skills  & promote Rotary!   

Lots will be going on and fellow Rotarians are encouraged to come out for fellowship (or volunteer to help). Set up will start mid-afternoon on Friday and our competition meat will be turned in at noon on Saturday. Cooking does require an overnight stay so, yes, Mario's favorite beverage will be available for those who want to partake.

There are family-friendly activities at the event on Friday evening, there may be a slight cost to participate in those activities (it is a fundraiser for St James).  Check out the Event here.

The Rotary BBQ Team has expenses, likely around $500 - $750. Competition will be ribs, brisket, pulled pork and chicken so food cost will be the biggest item.  This "pop-up"event was not included in this year's club budget so no club funding is available.    Click HERE to donate or become an event sponsor.   A collection box will be available at the event for last minute donations and for those who want a taste of the BBQ or need a beverage.
