Club News: March 23rd, 2022
Fellow Rotarians,

*  Our program this week is a video I came across and found to be very interesting and informative.  I don't claim to be a political science buff, but this seemed to explain the complexity of the war in the Ukraine in a way that was easy to follow and understand.

*  Happy dollars during March/April will go to support the Shoes for Orphan Souls project.  More about this project will be upcoming from our very own "professional shopper" Belinda Rogers in April.

*  Our "5th Wednesday Social" location is being provided by our very own Shawn Garland at The Artisan Market.  Interested in helping plan the event???  Give me a call or send an email.

Hope to see you tomorrow, in-person and with lunch!

Rotary  Disaster Response - Ukraine Crisis
As one of the world’s largest humanitarian organizations, Rotary has made peace the cornerstone of our global mission. We are deeply concerned about the Ukraine crisis and need your help.

Rotary is made up of people of action, especially in difficult times. In response to the deepening refugee crisis, The Rotary Foundation Trustees have decided to prioritize contributions made to the Disaster Response Fund until 30 April 2022 to support disaster response grants for districts affected by these events. These expedited disaster response grants can be used to supply water, food, medicine, shelter, and clothing.

World Book Day     -     March 3rd
It could be argued that what separates humans from other intelligent lifeforms is that we have the ability through books to record our knowledge and pass it on from generation to generation, country to country, person to person. Through the written word each generation is freed from having to learn from their own experiences or survive on instincts alone.
