This week we have a special presentation by Rick Daulton. Rick is going to share his experiences from 15 years of storm Chasing! It will be "special" because Rick is technically my boss, so watch the comments!
Next week we also will have a "special" presentation because it is a 5th Wednesday. Our meeting will be moved to Rotary Plaza from 6pm to ?????? Reed is organizing a Wine Tasting for us to enjoy and he is also making sure we have suitable snacks to go with the wine. Watch for the event invitations to come out Thursday. If you forget to sign up then you can just show up and watch! In case of bad weather, Reed has volunteered his house as a backup.

Shoes for Orphan Souls Update: The shoe collection continues through April and right up until District Conference. Bring your shoes to our meetings or you can make arrangements with Kimbal to deliver them to directly to Vocational Services Inc. Staff at VSI are assisting us with packing and storing our shoes again this year and we are very thankful! If you don't want to shop, donate some funding and our "professional shoe shoppers" will gladly spend it for you!
Rotary Plaza Update: BUTT BUSTER READY!!!!!
The inspector from the Clay County Health Department came last Thursday to check out our facility for 2025 and we PASSED with no infractions. Thanks to all who helped with clean-up day and made this excellent inspection possible!
We now have an official club mailbox at Rotary Plaza and are in the process of changing the club's mailing address from the old post office box to Rotary Club of Liberty 100 West Franklin St Liberty MO 64068 so update your contact lists!
Community Service: Make Music Day June 21st will be here before you know it but we are prepared! Since it is on a Saturday it will start at 8am (same start time as Farmer's Market) and only last until 6pm. We have a full schedule of performers, some that we have heard in past years and some new acts. We will be looking for "Plaza Hosts" to be at the Plaza during the day so keep you eyes out for volunteer lists. So far Cathie, Randy, and Jay have stepped up to help but there is room for more. This is a very easy gig, all you have to do is welcome the performs and guests, offer them water, and tell them where the bathroom is. No heavy lifting required!
