Butt Buster BBQ '25 has come and gone for this year. Seems like it is all we have focused on for the past couple of months and thought we should continue one more week! We will have a "Grand Announcement" of numbers at next week's meeting so be sure and join us next Wednesday. Club members came together again this year for an altogether excellent event which helps sponsor our Youth Programs: Scholarships, RYLA, Rotary Youth Exchange, Interact.
Our speaker Wednesday is our own Shawn Garland, updating us on "Art on the Side" scheduled for June 7th. This is an annual art fair started by Shawn centered at The Artisan Market, featuring established as well as emerging artists from all over the area.
We have been challenged to collect books for District Conference in two weeks, check out the notice below. Just a thought, there is still time to register for the District Conference.
Have a great week,
Jennifer

Community Service: Make Music Day June 21st will be here before you know it but we are prepared! Since it is on a Saturday it will start at 8am (same start time as Farmer's Market) and only last until 6pm. We have a full schedule of performers, some that we have heard in past years and some new acts. We will be looking for "Plaza Hosts" to be at the Plaza during the day. This is a very easy gig, all you have to do is welcome the performs and guests, offer them water, and tell them where the bathroom is. No heavy lifting required! Sign up now,--Click on the Rotary Plaza Picture>>>>>>
Rotary Plaza Update: 'Coffee at the Plaza' has started again this summer. Rotary members will service coffee at Rotary Plaza from 9am until 11am during the HDLI Farmer's Market season. This event was created last summer by our fearless leader, Jennifer, but we need additional volunteers to staff the event. Click on the Coffee picture to Sign UP for your Saturday!
