WE HAVE A FAMILY!! Over the weekend a family moved into our adopted apartment. We received the call on Friday morning, shopped for groceries, stocked the refrigerator in time to make the apartment move in ready by Friday night. This family is a single Mom with two teenage children a boy and a girl. Dan and Pam Gordon are heading up our hospitality team. They will be delivering a Meal this week, and checking in to see what other needs we can help with. Stay tuned to see what you can do to assist.

I just wanted to share some information with you that I found very interesting & made me so proud of our team & club....
As the liaison with the school district, I can see a document that shows what students are receiving for all the Community scholarships. What is really cool is to see our club's award amount vs. other community organizations....this is a wonderful testament to our Butt Buster Annual Fundraiser and the leadership of prior scholarship chairs (David Evans & Stacy Menhusen and those further back that I am unaware of)....
Our club's awards are $10,000, $10,000 and $2,500. These stack up against $500 and $1,000 awards. Our award amount is amazing and stands out among the crowd.
I really look forward to the awards ceremony on Monday, May 1st at Liberty North. I think it would be fitting for our Youth Committee Chairs to present the award (Jennifer & Dan) that evening, so please let me know if you can attend (calendar invite).
Thanks again for your time & dedication to the scholarship process.
Exciting times!
Wendy
Committee Update: Shoes for Orphan Souls
This will be the 22nd year of collecting shoes. This year shoes will be going to Guatemala and the Dominican Republic. The goal is to collect 15,199. If we can achieve this goal, we will eclipse a cumulative amount of 400,000 pairs of shoes over these 22 years.
Happy Dollars for February & March go to Shoes for Orphan Souls

How do you know it's spring at Rotary Plaza?????
The flowers are up and the water is turned back on!!!
As we planned for this Rotary year, I could have never "imagined" the breadth of stories we would encounter nor the scope of the people we would meet.
I find oxygen in sharing time with our members — hearing their truths and learning about their personal journeys and their deepest desires for goodness.
And so it was that I encountered two very different men with very similar stories.
