This week we will be working on several Rotary projects during our "Committee" work day:
--BB BBQ '25-save the date magnetic calendars were mailed last week and we will be breaking apart the various committees needed to move forward with our "signature fundraiser." Now is the time to be securing sponsors for the event as that is how we make the most money, every member should be go thru their "rolodex."
--The Scholarship committee has been working to fine tune the selection/grading process.
--We are now ready to start work on our District Grant at Hillcrest Transitional housing where we are going to laying flooring and other minor repairs. This will be one of the main discussion topics for the Service Committee.
--We will be distributing POINSETTIAS Wednesday! If you are not able to be at the meeting to pick up your order please contact Mitch Gloor to arrange delivery. Remember to bring you check made out to "Rotary Club of Liberty MO Foundation" if you are paying by check. Billing will be completed by David Evans, RCLMF Treasurer.
--We are working on developing District Grant projects for next year. Ideas include moving forward with the Outdoor Learning Space at Lewis and Clark and developing a joint District Grant with other Northland Rotary Clubs to develop the "Picnic Grove" area at KC Northern Miniature Railroad. Bring your ideas for other projects!
